About Northwest Organic Farm
We went organic because Greg does not belive in using and abusing chemicals, as he's seen many other farms.
During his years of working with other commercial farms he saw all the "bad stuff" that was put on the produce, and ultimately into our mouths, so we decided not to go that route. We purchsed our farm here in Ridgefield and since no pesticides had ever been used on this land we were able to "go organic".
Fortunately, organic farming was becoming more accepted commercially so we were able to start out right. No land reclaimation or purification was needed. I am so very impressed that Clark County is promoting the Organic process. My goal is to help the process and education of the consumer in any way I can. We welcome scheduled visitors to our farm.
